I am continuing consulting only with well-established patients from Melbourne online via TeleHealth on phone OR Zoom video link. I then send your prescription advise by email link. I will see new patients on request.
Naturopathy takes into consideration all aspects of a person’s health including the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. This healing modality focuses on holistic care and prevention of disease using natural, non-invasive therapies. Rather than simply focusing on suppressing symptoms, Naturopathy treats the causes of poor health whilst also relieving symptoms and promoting health and long term wellness. Natural medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, Naturopathy supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.
A patient can be treated by both orthodox Doctors and Naturopathic Medicine together to achieve optimal health and modify the contributing lifestyle and dietary factors that may be compounding symptoms. It is not a one or the other choice for people, it’s actually complementary.
There are TWO levels of consultations:
Initial consults- 'health restoration care', and maintenance consults- 'Wellness and health Maintenance'--
When you first commence consulting with me, you will be under my health restoration care programme. This will involve monthly visits for approximately 3 months. I'll provide you with a wealth of information you can apply to restore your health, clear instructions, and set you on the path to Wellness.
Prescriptions are emailed.
I prescribe individual Natural medicines as required, and connect you to an online ordering system (Vital.ly) that I can supervise.

After 3 months of more intensive care, you are encouraged, but get the choice, to continue to see me under my Wellness and health maintenance programme. This involves a consultation every 3 months to review your current health status and refresh the information I have provided you about your health. I will also update you on the latest new available remedies, and medical findings relating to your health, as well as disease prevention. We can review your blood tests, discuss your diet and lifestyle actions, and review your current supplements, then discuss any adjustments needed.

SHORT CONSULTATION CHARGE FOR EMAIL REPLIES & PHONE CONSULTS
$35-45 for matters up to 15-20 minutes of my time (email or phone)
$55 for up to 30 minutes time of my time (email message or phone call)
I have been inundated with short enquiries, and requests to look over blood tests etc via email.
I don’t mind at all, but the time it is taking me is adding up.
I don’t mind sharing my 32+ years worth of knowledge with you my valued patients, but I need to be reimbursed for my time.

Claim rebates: Good news from my Association (ANTA)as 10/12/21-
"ANTA has been advised by HBF health fund that they are now paying rebates for telehealth consultation for Nutrition on a permanent basis.
The only other health funds that currently provide rebates for telehealth consultations for Nutrition are AHM (on a permanent basis), and CUA Health (temporarily ongoing). A benefit is only payable where the service is covered by the client's Extras cover and applicable waiting periods have been served."

Cancellation Policy
Judie Curtin-Cancellation Policy for all Consultations
As part of our consultation agreement I have a minimum 24 hour notice requirement for a cancellation or change of appointment.
A late cancellation can cause significant problems running my clinic, as well as the health plans I have for you. I work largely online, and have the flexibility to re-schedule, but adequate time must be given please.
All patients will receive automatic SMS and email reminders the day before their booked appointment. This is not the best time to cancel or move an appointment.
Please set reminder for our pre-booked appointments in your phones a few days prior.
I understand that there are times when you are unable to make your appointment and may need to reschedule,so if you receive my appointment reminders, please make note of the following:
1st missed appointment – half fee is charged (50% of fee). You will be sent an invoice to pay.
*Re-scheduling within a few days, no charge, if adequate time is given.
2nd missed appointment – the standard full fee will apply, and you will be sent an invoice to pay.
